More Plastic Canvas!

I made another plastic canvas purse, and this one I'm actually going to use!  I know these pictures are a little wonky. I'm still trying to get the hang of taking pictures with my cell phone camera! Of course, it has little spots for my danglies.  The right side is holding my wallet-on-a-chain. Here's the inside: It's actually quite hard to see.  It has room inside for my Nook, my planner, a pocket for my keys and glasses, one for my wallet, and one for my phone.  I'll be fixing the bit of loose yarn on the left, of course....

Colorful Canvas

I consider myself a fairly creative person. I don't only do digital scrapbook designing - somewhat recently, I developed a fascination with making bags out of plastic canvas. I actually wanted to re-teach myself to crochet - my grandmother taught me when I was little but the skill disappeared. I got some yarn and crochet needles from my mother-in-law for Christmas, but I am completely befuddled by crochet now. So, I decided to make use of all the yarn I have by making bags out of plastic canvas. Weird, yes... but fun! So, this one is actually my third completed...

Practicing Plastic Canvas

I got a wild hair to start playing with plastic canvas. I blame this on the fact that I can't seem to crochet to save my life, yet I have a bunch of yarn and I wanted to be crafty. So, I decided to start out with a bang and made a huge tote/purse, big enough to carry all my junk plus my Nook and my calendar/planner/brain.
